Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Yidgive ("Yidgive," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with our websites, applications, dashboard platform, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). It applies to visitors to our website, users of our dashboard, and the authorized representatives of the businesses that subscribe to Yidgive ("Customers").
By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Services.
1. Who we are and our role
Yidgive provides a dashboard platform that software companies use to manage their own customers, billing, integrations, and analytics. Depending on the context, we act in two roles:
- Controller. For our website, marketing, account administration, and the personal information of our Customers' authorized users, we determine the purposes and means of processing and act as a controller.
- Processor / service provider. When a Customer uploads or transmits data about their own end users into the platform ("Customer Data"), we process that data on the Customer's behalf and under their instructions. In that case the Customer is the controller, and this Policy is supplemented by the agreement between us and that Customer.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide to us
- Account information: name, work email, company name, job title, password, and similar details used to create and manage an account.
- Billing information: billing contact, billing address, and payment-related details. Card payments are processed by our payment processors; we do not store full card numbers.
- Mobile number: if you choose to receive SMS messages, the mobile number you provide (see Section 6).
- Communications: the content of messages you send us, including support requests, sales inquiries, and form submissions.
- Customer Data: records our Customers add to the platform about their own accounts and end users.
2.2 Information we collect automatically
- Usage data: pages and features viewed, actions taken, and dates and times of access.
- Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referring URLs, and diagnostic data.
- Cookies and similar technologies: as described in Section 4.
2.3 Information from third parties
We may receive information from integrations you connect (such as payment, CRM, identity, or analytics providers), from our service providers, and from publicly available sources, and combine it with information we already hold.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
- create and administer accounts and authenticate users;
- process billing, subscriptions, and transactions;
- send operational, account, and status messages relating to your account (by email and, where you opt in, SMS);
- respond to inquiries and provide customer support;
- monitor, secure, and protect the Services and prevent fraud and abuse;
- understand usage and develop new features;
- send service announcements and, where permitted, marketing communications you can opt out of; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
4. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure and improve performance, and understand how the Services are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality. Where required by law, we obtain consent for non-essential cookies.
5. Legal bases for processing (EEA / UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal information on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Services you request); our legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the Services, and for limited marketing), balanced against your rights; your consent (for example, for SMS messages or certain cookies), which you may withdraw at any time; and compliance with legal obligations.
6. Mobile messaging and SMS
If you opt in to SMS, we use your mobile number to send automated account, operational, and status messages to the account owner, for example, account confirmations, service and status updates, and billing notices. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
Opt-in is self-service: the account owner enters their own mobile number in their account settings and agrees to receive these messages. No one else can enroll your number on your behalf.
Mobile opt-in and consent. We collect mobile numbers solely to send operational and account messages to the account owner. Mobile opt-in information is never shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or any other purpose. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
You can cancel SMS at any time by replying STOP; we will send one confirmation and then stop sending messages to that number. Reply HELP for help, or email info@yidgive.com. Message frequency varies based on account activity. Message and data rates may apply, charged by your carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Mobile opt-in information and SMS consent are not shared with any third parties or affiliates.
7. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described here:
- Service providers (sub-processors): vendors who help us run the Services, such as hosting, infrastructure, payment processing, email and SMS delivery, analytics, and support, under contracts that require them to protect the information and use it only to provide services to us.
- Integrations you authorize: when you connect a third-party tool, we exchange data with it as needed to provide the integration you requested.
- Legal and safety: when we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Yidgive, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
- With your direction or consent: when you ask us to share information or otherwise consent.
As stated in Section 6, mobile opt-in information and SMS consent are never shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or any other purpose.
8. International data transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we use appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, where required by applicable law.
9. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and afterward only as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Customer Data is retained according to our agreement with the relevant Customer. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
10. Data security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information: to access it; to correct inaccuracies; to delete it; to obtain a portable copy; to restrict or object to certain processing; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
11.1 EEA / UK
You may exercise the rights above and have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
11.2 United States (including California)
Subject to applicable state law, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it; to access, correct, or delete it; to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted advertising; and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share mobile opt-in information. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
11.3 How to exercise your rights
Email info@yidgive.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. If your information was provided to us by a Customer as Customer Data, we will refer your request to that Customer. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response.
12. Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Third-party links and services
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites and services that we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review them.
14. Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing without a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards.
15. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
